ST. PAUL, MINN. – It's been a busy and thrilling week for the St. Catherine University basketball team with three games scheduled in just seven days. Fortunately, the first two of those games were Wildcats victories. St. Kate's started their week with a huge home win over the University of Wisconsin-Superior and broke the Yellow Jackets 16-game win streak in the process. Then, on Wednesday, the Wildcat defense shut down the visiting College of Saint Benedict to win 57-56 in the final seconds.
This afternoon, St. Kate's will play the third and final game of their action filled week as they take on Macalester at 3 p.m. on the road. Fans who can't make it to the game can watch live via

Until then, here are five fun facts and stats from the Wildcats last few games:
39 – Number of combined turnovers committed by St. Kate's and Saint Ben's in their game on Wednesday. The Wildcat defense forced 23 Blazer turnovers and only committed 16 of their own. Saint Ben's final turnover with four seconds left in the fourth quarter sealed St. Kate's 57-56 win.
18 – Number of doubles-doubles junior guard
LaShay Holt (Minneapolis, Minn. / Humboldt) has in her career as a Wildcat. Holt recorded her seventeenth and eighteenth career double-doubles within two days of each other. Double-double No. 17 came in a 64-61 loss to Augsburg last weekend, and No. 18 came in Monday's 77-72 victory over UW-Superior. In addition to 18 double-doubles in her career, Holt now has recorded 7 double-doubles this season.
31.0 – St. Kate's shooting percentage when they played the Scots earlier this season. The Wildcats only shot 22-71 from the floor, 1-18 from beyond the three-point arc, and 10-16 from the free throw line in the 64-55 loss.
4 – Number of years Macalester head coach Kelly Roysland played basketball at the University of Minnesota. Roysland was a four year letter winner during her time with the Gophers and is one of the programs all-time leading scorers. She made three trips to the NCAA tournament, playing in nine games for the Gophers during their Final Four run in 2004, their trip to the Sweet 16 in 2005, and again in 2006. Roysland also played one year of volleyball for the Gophers in 2007.
3 – Number of games remaining on St. Kate's 2015-16 schedule. In addition to today's game against Macalester, the Wildcats have one final home game against Concordia next Wednesday before finishing the season at St. Olaf on Saturday.
