The Wildcats faced a tough Gustavus team who is currently ranked #7 in the region Saturday afternoon and came up short after a solid start, losing 8-1.

"We came out with great intensity today and really got after the doubles points.  Angie Lorenzen and Maria Koval had an outstanding win at #2 doubles." Coach Hageseth commented on the match. "However, Gustavus pushed back and ended up winning 2 out of 3 of the doubles and held on to that momentum going into the singles.  I was very pleased by how well we competed up and down the line-up.  It was a great match against a top regionally ranked team, which helped show what we need to focus on moving forward to have a strong finish to the season."
