The St. Kate's volleyball team followed up a 2-0 performance on Friday with a 1-1 split on Saturday at the UWSP Pointer Invitational, falling only to the host school in their first match, 3-0. Callie Teigen was named to the All-Tournament Team.
The Wildcats did not play up to their ability in Saturday morning's match, allowing host Stevens Point to easily defeat them 3-0. Although the Wildcats were close in every game, they couldn't score the final few points needed to keep themselves in the match, falling by a score of 23-25, 20-25, 23-25.
Returning to the court with renewed focus, the Wildcats made quick work of North Central in the afternoon, taking the match 25-21, 25-12, 25-20.
Kayla Sis was almost perfect on attack, scoring nine kills with no errors for a hitting percentage over .500. Many of the points were over before they even began, with the Wildcats tallying 13 aces in the match.

Ashley Kahlow each chipped in four aces.
Teigen compiled 40 digs over the weekend to help the Wildcats to their 3-1 record and to earn her All-Tournament nod.
