Volleyball wins 3-0 over Hamline

The Wildcats evened their conference record on Wednesday evening, taking care of Hamline in straight sets.  The Wildcats move to 2-2 in the MIAC with the win, 13-3 overall.  Hamline fell to 6-10 (0-4 MIAC). 

The Wildcats and Hamline played an evenly matched first set, with the Wildcats constantly taking the lead and Hamline answering back to keep them from pulling away.  The Wildcats eventually prevailed 25-22.  Psyched up by their first set win, the Wildcats took control of the match from there out, winning with commanding leads in the second (25-16) and third sets (25-14).

Marie O'Neil led the offense, with an amazing .538 hitting percentage and 9 total kills.  Kayla Sis had 10 kills and hit .429, while Stephanie Meschke and Brittni Wangerin each had 8 kills.  Ashley Kahlow had 21 set assists, 2 aces, and 8 digs. 

The Wildcats head to Central College this weekend for a tournament.
