The Wildcats took on #10 in the country Concordia in a conference match on Saturday, and Corcordia demonstrated why they are ranked so high, winning a 3-0 decision. The Wildcats fell to 12-3 (1-2 MIAC), while Concordia improved to 13-3 (2-1).
Concordia won in straight sets by a score of 25-8, 25-21, 25-15. The Wildcats did not help their own cause against such a tough opponent, committing 22 attack errors in the match. The Wildcats almost got themselves into the match in the second set, but Concordia was able to prevail 25-21 and that was as close at the Wildcats would get.
Kayla Sis was the most consistant attacker on the afternoon, with 6 kills.
Ashley Kahlow served up two aces and added 15 set assists.
The Wildcats will look to even their MIAC record when they host Hamline on Wednesday, September 28th at 7 pm.
