The Wildcat basketball team ran into a tough opponent in Concordia College Monday night in the Butler center. Contrasting their 100 point game from the weekend, St. Kate's struggled from the field, shooting 25% for the game. Concordia shot 38% from the field en rout to the 73-47 Cobber victory.
Sarina Baker led the Wildcats in scoring with eleven points and added three rebounds and three steals. Sarah Mong led St. Kate's in rebounds with seven and chipped in six points and a steal in the effort.
Concordia had three players finish in double digits, led by Tricia Sorensen who scored sixteen and pulled down eleven boards. The Cobbers size down low was a factor all night as they out rebounded St. Kate's and had a total of six blocks in the game.
The Wildcats hope to get back on track Wednesday when they travel to St. Benedict for a 7:30 game.
