St. Kate's lost another close game, this time to MIAC foe Augsburg. After taking a 32-29 lead into halftime, and maintaining that lead for much of the second half, the Wildcats fell behind with 1:48 left in the game. They could not regain the lead and lost 64-61 to the Auggies.

Laura Kalbfell had another strong all-around game for the Wildcats. She led all scorers with 16 points. She also had seven rebounds, two blocks and two steals. Sonja Ellingson also filled the stat sheet with a strong all-around game. Ellingson picked up 12 points, 9 boards, 4 assists, and 3 blocks for St. Kate's.

With the loss the Wildcats fall to 4-11 overall (3-9 MIAC).  The team will look to turn things around Wednesday night at 7:30 when they take on Macalester College in the Butler Center.
