Coming off of a win over Concordia a week and a half ago, the Wildcat tennis team lost to the University of St. Thomas 8-1 on Tuesday afternoon. With the loss, St. Kate's falls to 4-5 in the MIAC and 6-10 on the season.
Kasie Rust recorded the lone win for the Wildcats, scoring a 0-6, 6-4, (10-8) comeback win at #3 singles. Bethany Gapinski won her first set 4-6 at #5 singles, but ended up losing 6-3, (10-7).
St. Kate's travels to the University of Wisconsin –River Falls on Wednesday, April 28th for a 4:00 p.m. match.
