Basketball struggles versus Hamline

The St. Kate's basketball team fell behind early, and never got on track. They lost 67-46 to the Pipers from Hamline. With the loss the Wildcats fall to 6-7 on the season and 5-5 in the MIAC.

The Wildcats shot only 28% in the first half, and trailed 22-4 nearly 10 minutes into the game. The teamdid not recover from the early deficit, and cold shooting and turnovers plagued their comeback attempts.

Hamline led 36-18 at halftime, and extended that lead to 27 with just over five minutes remaining.

Laura Kalbfell led the Wildcats with 13 points, on 5-of-13 shooting from the floor.
