Sam Levercom has been named Wildcat Athlete of the Week after breaking two school records to help the wildcats take sixth at the MIAC Indoor Conference Meet.

Levercom started out the track and tield conference meet with a new personal best, and school record in the 55 meter dash. She finished with a time of 7.61 seconds, placing her 12th overall. 

Day two was a continuation of her success as she anchored the 4x200 team to a new school record, and  third place finish. Taking the handoff Levercom and the St. Kate’s team was in 4th place. Levercom split the fastest leg of her career and ran down Gustavus’ anchor leg.  The team’s time of 1:48.34 was another school record for Levercom and her teammates.

The Wildcat’s finished the meet with seven school records, and multiple personal bests. The team finished sixth overall.
