Biography
2011-2012: Sam is a senior and is returning for her fourth season on the track and field team as a captain.
2010-2011: During the track season, Sam received All-Conference Honorable Mention in the 4x100m relay. She also led the soccer team in scoring before a knee injury caused her to miss part of the season.
2009-2010: Sam was a part of four school record setting events as a sophomore, including the indoor 55m and the outdoor 100m. She earned MIAC Honorable Mention All-Conference twice. For the Wildcats soccer team, she had seven points (2 goals, 3 assists) as a sophomore.
2008-2009: Sam was the only first-year to qualify for the Conference finals in the 100m dash, where she finished 5th. On the soccer field she had nine points (4 goals, 1 assist) as a first-year.
High School: A three-time letter winner in soccer and track at Coon Rapids High School, Sam was also part of two soccer teams that qualified for the state tournament, including the 2003 State Championship team.
Personal: Her favorite part of being a student- athlete at St. Kate's is meeting new friends. Sam is a Psychology major at St. Kate's and the daughter of Jim and Lynn.
