Michaela Michaelson has been named Wildcat Athlete of the Week after her strong contributions to the Wildcats earning the #2 seed in MIAC Playoffs this past weekend.

On both Friday and Saturday Michaelson recorded one goal and one assist. Her four point weekend helped the Wildcats down the Blazers 3-1 on Friday and 3-2 in OT on Saturday.

With two goals and two assists in two nights, Michaelson raised her season totals to 33 points in 23 games.

Her 18 regular season goals lead the MIAC for the second season in a row. Meanwhile her 15 assists rank third in the conference.
