Sophomore diver Sarah Moody has been named Wildcat Athlete of the Week after she helped the Wildcats to their highest conference finish since 1993 and became the first Wildcat to win an individual title in over 15 years. 

Moody has had strong performances throughout the season, but her focus and determintion during the conference meet took her to the next level.

By winning the 1-Meter Diving Moody not only became the Wildcats first individual MIAC Champion since 1992, but she posted a national qualifying score of 407.10 and set a new SCU school record in the event as well.

Over the weekend Moody also finished fourth in the 3-Meter Diving. Her outstanding weekend helped contributed to the Wildcats sixth place team finish.

Moody will continue representing the Wildcats as she prepares for the NCAA National Championships. Nationals are being held March 17-20 at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.
