Senior team captain Jenny Ampe has been named Wildcat Athlete-of-the-Week after setting two school records at the MIAC indoor track & field championships.

Individually, Ampe became the first vaulter in school history to surpass the 11-foot barrier during the indoor season. Her vault of 3.40 meters (11-1.75 ft) placed her second in the conference, earning her MIAC All-Conference honors fo the second time in her career.

Collectively, Ampe ran the lead leg on the Wildcats 4x200 meter relay team that set a new school record. #Brianna Ludtke#, #Kim Engel# and #Erin Coughlin# joined Ampe in lowering the record and finishing fourth in the meet.
