Molly Peterson has been named Wildcat Athlete of the Week after helping the St. Kate's basketball team to a 3-0 record in conference play last week.

Peterson started the week strong, scoring 23 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in helping SCU defeat St. Thomas 64-62 in overtime. Against Carleton she added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the Wildcats 64-51 win. Peterson ended the week with 21 points in 27 minutes of play during St. Kate's 86-59 win over St. Mary's.

All told, Peterson averaged 18.0 points and 7.33 rebounds per game. She also had 5 blocks, 6 assists and 3 steals for the week.

Peterson is a senior majoring in Exercise and Sports Science.
