Sophomore standout, Franceska Hernandez-Nietling garners her second Fleur-de-lis award and first this season following an impressive performance at the Grinnell Invitational helping her team to a first place finish for the first time at the invitational. Hernandez-Nietling swam lifetime bests in the 100 fly, 400 IM, and 200 fly at the invitational finishing 2^nd in the 200 IM 5^th in the 100 fly, and 4^th in the 200 fly. Her lifetime best finish by 9 seconds in the 400 IM was good for 2^nd place. The sophomore was a member of the 200 free relay team that placed 7^th at Grinnell. She also was on the relay team that finished 3^rd in the 400 medley relay, 2^nd in the 200 medley relay, and the relay team that finished 1^st in the 400 free relay.
