Sophomore Emma Svendsen earns her first Fleur-de-lis for leadership having organized a department-wide opportunity with each team volunteering at Feed My Starving Children. Svendsen worked with the Wildcat Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (WSAAC) where she is a representative for Swimming to plan three sessions where the sister teams combined to pack 422 boxes. Feed My Starving Children is a nonprofit organization empowering volunteers to pack meals for the malnourished in nearly 70 countries.
