First-year Makayla Stinson continues to improve on her stellar debut season dropping significant time in both the 60-meter dash and 200-meter run. In the last two meets, Stinson has PR'd in both events highlighted by her performance in the 60-meter dash at the Gopher Classic. In the preliminary trials, Stinson finished with a PR time of 8.19 having posted a PR time of 8.33 just the week prior at the Warren Bowlus Open. In the 200, Stinson improved from a PR time of 28.20 at the Warren Bowlus Open before posting a new PR of 28.16 at the Gopher Classic. On top of her personal achievements, Stinson also landed herself on the program's 60-meter dash all-time list ranking seventh.
