Senior Jordyn Wentzel opened the 2021-22 season winning all five events at the Wildcats’ Pentathlon. Her times at the event ranked her in the top-spot within the MIAC plus each result was in the top-eight in D3. The following week, Wentzel claimed the top-time in all four events at the Luther College Quad Meet. Her time in the 100-yard breaststroke and was the best finish in the MIAC and NCAA. Her finishes in the 200-yard breaststroke and 200-yard individual medley were first the league plus ranked her 3^rd in Division III. Wentzel was named MIAC Athlete of the Week following her performance at the St. Kate’s Pentathlon having finished with the top time amongst men and women in the 100-yard breaststroke.
