Proper has had a strong start to the softball season, going undefeated in three appearances with an era of .70. The team leader has recorded 16 strikeouts while giving up only 3 walks, and received the MIAC Pitcher of the Week honor after throwing two scoreless games against Dubuque and Dominican (Ill.). This is her second Fleur-de-lis award of her career.
