Sophomore Lauren Witte tallied two goals in each of the Wildcats’ victories since opening the season August 30 against UW-Stout. In the game against Stout to open the season, Witte score the Wildcats’ second and fourth goals in the 7-0 victory. In the second game of the season against, Eau Claire, the standout forward had 3 shots on goal leading the team in shots. In St. Kate’s victory over visiting Coe College, Witte scored the Wildcats’ first goal in under two minutes of play. Her second goal of the game was within seconds of a goal from Coe. Witte tallied 4 SOG against the Kohawks for a three-game total of 9 SOG on 12 shots averaging 4 shots her game. This is Witte’s first Fleur-de-lis Award of her career.
