Cassie picked up four points over the weekend helping the St. Kate's hockey team defeat Bethel University 3-1 and 4-2. The First year forward had two assists on Friday, including one on the game winning goal. She then came back on Saturday and scored two goals during the Wildcats four goal second period outburst.

Rooney is now second on the team, and tied for 11th in the MIAC, with 16 points (7 goals, 9 assists) in 22 games played this season.

The two victories were critical as the Wildcats put themselves into the thick of the MIAC playoff race heading into the final series of the season against Concordia College. Both games will be played at Ridder Arena. Friday face-off is at 7pm and Saturday it is at 2pm.
