The sophomore standout had an impressive weekend at the St. Thomas Invite on Saturday, January 12. Grohman recorded lifetime bests in the 100 breaststroke and 200 backstroke. Grohman finished 9th 200 backstroke at 2:23.66 and 10th 100 breaststroke at 1:16.94 helping her team secure a third place finish among a field of MIAC competitors. In addition to her individual highlights, Grohman was part of the first place 400 free relay team registering her fastest in-season 100 freestyle split of 54.90. The sophomore was also part of the Wildcats 400 medley relay B team that finished 6^th overall swimming another in-season best in the 100 fly with a split of 1:02.19. This is Grohman’s first Fleur-de-lis award of her sophomore year and second in her career as a Wildcat.
