Kristina Poss has been chosen as the Wildcat Athlete of the Week after her fantastic performance at the MIAC Championship this weekend. Poss ran the 6k course in 24:10, 18 seconds faster than her previous personal best and 76 seconds better than her time at the MIAC race last season. 

Poss' time is tied for the 4th fastest 6k in St. Kate's history. The sophmore led the way for the Wildcats, as she was the top finisher for the team this weekend. She placed 35th overall in the meet.

The Wildcats lowered their score from 329 in 2010 to 263 this season. They were only 30 points away from 9th place Macalester and almost 100 points ahead of 11th place. The Wilcats have their final meet of the season in two weeks, racing at the NCAA Central Region Championship in Waverly, Iowa.
