I'm proud to be a Wildcat because: I get to represent St. Kate's in the sport that I love for the rest of my career and as a student who will be successful in the future thanks to my experiences that I got to encounter here as a Wildcat. 

What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Catherine?: The community that you are able to build between the different sports teams. 

2017: In her junior season with the Wildcats, Baker was one of St. Kate's top offensive players as an outside hitter. In 24 matches, Baker accumlated 133 kills and committed just 59 errors in over 500 attempts. She ranked third on the team in hitting percentage (1.46) and kills (133). Baker recorded a career-high 22 digs in two matches in 2017. 

2016: As a sophomore, Baker was one of St. Kate's primary hitters and played in 23 matches for St. Kate's. She led the team in kills/set average (2.42) and was tied for third on the team in total kills (184). She recorded a career high 23 kills in a five-set loss to Ripon College in September.

2015: In her first season as a Wildcat, Baker played in 29 matches for the Wildcats. She was sixth on the team in kills (125) and fifth in kills per set (1.67). Baker recorded a career-high 13 kills in the Wildcats' win over Wisconsin Lutheran on Sept.12. 

High School: Baker was a team captain and offensive MVP as a a senior at Forest Lake for volleyball. She was also an all-conference selection. Baker also graduated with academic honors. 

Personal: Baker chose St. Kate's because of the physical therapy program and the feeling of community she felt on her visit to campus. She plans to major in exercise and sport science, pre-physical therapy. Baker is the daughter of Lynda and Jim Baker.
