University of West Alabama

2021: Appeared in four matches in her debut season. She tallied six kills with three digs. 

High School:  As the captain of Brainerd High School's volleyball team, Genz earned All-Conference and All-Area recognition her senior season. She was a member of the Brainerd Northern Heat as a club player. She is also the yearbook editor and has earned that honor for the past four years. 

Personal: Daughter of Alan and Dawn Genz. Marketing and Business Administration major and Graphic Design and Coaching minor. She is also a member of the St. Kate's track & field team. 

Why did you choose St. Catherine? I chose St. Catherine University because of the welcoming environment it had the moment I stepped on campus. The coaches, faculty, and athletes all made me feel so welcome the moment that I showed interest in the school. I also chose St. Catherine University because of their academics. I wanted a school where I could push myself as a student while gaining so much more than just an education.

What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Kate's?: The thing I love most about being a student athlete is the instant connection you get within the school. You gain a family away from your own.
