2025: Played 30 sets across 11 matches, collecting 34 digs, six assists and four service aces. Earned 2025-26 MIAC Academic All-Conference honors.

2024: In her first season, Nelson appeared in 10 matches and 17 sets, recording one kill and 19 digs.

High School: At Apple Valley, Nelson earned the Jill Gowling Heart Award as a senior and was named Defensive Player of the Year in 2023. She was the Club 15-1 MVP while earning letters in volleyball, choir and student council. 

Personal: Daughter of Linda and Kris Nelson.  Accounting/Business Administration with a Philosophy minor. Has earned Dean's List recognition, is a member of Delta Mu Delta and WSAAC, and has received an Unsung Hero Award.

What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Kate's? I love my teammates and the opportunity to be competitive. This environment has brought me lifelong friends and has helped me improve in every aspect of my life.

I chose St. Catherine University because: My mom's sisters are alumnae; they are incredibly strong women who have had a clear impact on the people around them, and I could not be prouder to be on the same campus.
