2024: In her first season, Nelson appeared in ten matches playing 17 sets with one kill and 19 digs. 

High School: At Apple Valley, Nelson earned the Jill Gowling Heart Award in her senior year as well as being named Defensive Player of the Year in 2023. She was the Club 15-1 MVP while earning letters in volleyball, choir, and student council. Nelson plans to pursue a degree in marketing with a minor in computer science while at St. Kate's.

Personal: Daughter of Linda and Kristopher Nelson. Plans to study marketing and computer science at St. Kate's.

Why I chose St. Kate's: I chose St. Kate's because the values of the school align with what I was looking for, and it is somewhere I see myself being successful and feeling at home.

What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Kate's?: I think that I’m going to enjoy having new goals and discipline, I can’t wait to be a part of this team!
