Robinson joins St. Kate's as assistant volleyball coach in the spring of 2020.
Robinson comes to St. Kate's with an extensive coaching background with experience at the NCAA Division I level, with high school teams, and with various club team programs. He serves as a full-time staff member with the Minnesota Select Volleyball Club where he is the Director of Boys' Volleyball, facilities coordinator, and head coach. He is also the assistant coach for the Wayzata High School girls' varsity volleyball team where he helped lead the Trojans to an MSHSL Class AAA State Championship in November 2019.Â
Before his time at Wayzata and with the Minnesota Select Club team, Robinson was the manager for the University of Northern Iowa Women's team where he assisted in the creation of practice plans, drills, and warm-up activities. During that time, he was also an intern with the Panthers strength & conditioning department with a focus on volleyball. Additionally, he was an assistant coach for the Club Iowa Juniors program.Â
Robinson earned his bachelor of arts degree in movement and exercise science with a minor in psychology from the University of Northern Iowa. At UNI, Robinson competed on the men's track & field and men's volleyball teams.Â
