2025: Valdez started all 21 matches in goal, going 17-4-0 with a 0.53 goals-against average, .889 save percentage, 88 saves and 11 solo shutouts. Earned MIAC All-Conference and United Soccer Coaches All-Region Second Team honors.

2024: Valdez appeared in three matches in goal for 108:12, made three saves and did not allow a goal while contributing to three combined shutouts.

High School: Earned third-place in state at Libertyville High School. Played ECNL for 4-5 years with her club team. Was a 4.0 student throughout all four years of high school and earned an honor graduate award.

Personal: Daughter of Germaine Soto. Plans to pursue a degree in Psychology. 

What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Kate's? I’m not one just yet, but I’m looking forward to the connections I will make within my team. Hoping I can find my family here away from home.

I chose St. Catherine University because: Of the pure comfort I felt with my future teammates. They welcomed me with great hospitality and smiles all around.
