I'm proud to be a Wildcat because: even though we spend a lot of time studying, we can still kill it on the court.

What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Catherine?: The amazing friends I have made are what I enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Kate's.

2016: Palmer ended her career at St. Kate's as one of the most successful players in program history, thanks to a successful senior year. As an outside hitter for the Wildcats, Palmer played in 29 matches and 105 sets, recorded a team hig 217 kills on 797 attempts, and was second on the team in digs (342) and aces (34). At the end of the season, Palmer ranked No. 7 all-time in kills (605), No. 6 in attack attempts (2222), No. 5 in digs (1143), and tied for third in matches played (115).

2015: In her third season with the Wildcats, Palmer played in 31 matches and ranked in the top 25 in the MIAC for digs (278) and digs per set (2.90). She also recorded 73 kills, 13 blocks and 13 service aces. Pamer currently ranks No. 8 all-time at St. Kate's for career digs (801), No. 12 for kills (388) and No. 13 for attempts (1425) in three seasons played. She also earned Academic All-MIAC honors.

2014: During her sophomore season, Palmer played in 26 matches for the Wildcats and was fourth on the team in kills with 130. She was second on the team in digs with 249 and had 22 blocks. Palmer also earned Academic All-MIAC honors.

2013: As a first-year, Palmer played in 30 matches. Palmer was second on the team in kills with 185 and was third on the team in digs with 274. She also tallied 16 blocks.

High School: Palmer was a junior and senior captain of the volleyball team at Pequot Lakes High School and was named the team's MVP three years in a row. She also earned all-conference honors in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Additionally, she earned all-state academic honors and was class president.

Personal:  Palmer chose St. Catherine because it offers a variety of academic programs and because of the opportunity to participate in a great athletic program. She is a nursing major, dean's list student and member of the track and field team holding the indoor school triple jump record. She is the daughter of Christine and Isaac Palmer.
