I am proud to be a Wildcat because: I will always be apart of this supportive community. I'm taught here to be smart, work hard, and claim my education. No one will ever be able to take that away from me.
Indoor Track - Personal Bests:
60m: 8.47
200m: 28.53
Indoor Track - Honorss and Records:
Qualified for conference in: 4 x 200-meter relay (2017, 2018)
Scored points at conference: 4 x 200-meter relay (2017- 7th, 2018- 6th)
All-MIAC Honorable Mention: 4 x 200-meter relay (2018- 6th)
St. Kate's Top-10: 4 x 200-meter relay (No. 3, No. 5, No. 10)
Outdoor Track - Personal Bests:
100m: 13.92
High School: Leja had an extremely succesfull career as a sprinter at Oconto Falls High School. She was named team captain as a senior and posted career best times in both the 100 meter dash (12.73) and 200 meter dash (27.05). Leja was also named All-Conference for her performance in the 100m dash her senior season. She was a member of National Honors Society, Student Council, and Future Business Leaders of America.
Personal: Leja chose St. Kate's because of the great reputation of the ASL department, the unique opportunity a women's college presents, and the chance to keep running. She plans to major in ASL interpretation. Leja is the daughter of Ken and Pam Leja.
