High School: At Anoka, Hoenigschmidt was a senior captain for track and participated in tru team state in 2014 and 2015. She also participated in volleyball and earned the team's Tornado award twice. Outside of sports, Hoenigschmidt was an honor roll student, member of National Honors Society and a four-year letter winner for academics. 

Personal: Hoenigschmidt chose to attend St. Kate's for the beautiful campus, the ASL program and the opportunity to compete in track. She plans to major in ASL interpreting. She is the daughter of Dustin and Dana Hoenigschmidt.
