High School: At Grand Forks Central, Ackley was a track captain. She was also a member of student senate. She earned the National Guard "You Can" Award in 2012.
Personal: Ackley chose to attend St. Kate's because of the campus atmosphere. She is a pre-physical therapy major with a minor in American Sign Language (ASL).
