Mikinzee Salo joined the St. Kate's Tennis staff as an assistant in 2016. She is a graduate of St. Catherine University earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. As a Wildcat, she earned 3x MIAC All-Conference honors and also holds the record as the winningest doubles player in program history.
Salo is a graduate of the 2018 NCAA Women Coaches Academy class #46 that was held in Denver, Colo. The NCAA Women Coaches Academy, hosted in partnership between WeCOACH and the NCAA, is a 4-day educational training available to NCAA coaches of all experience levels, and is designed for women coaches who are ready to increase their individual effectiveness by learning advanced skills and strategies that directly affect their personal and team success.
In addition to coaching, Salo is pursing a master's degree in Sport Psychology from the University of Minnesota and is a supervisor at Tennis and Life Camp held at Gustavus Adolphus College.Â
