Biography
I'm proud to be a Wildcat because: Wildcat swimmers and divers are the most fun and entertaining people to be around.
What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Catherine?: I know all of my teammates really well and there is never a dull moment at practice.
2014-15: This will be Wenner's second season as a Wildcat.
2013-14: TIn her first season as a Wildcat, Wenner swam on the record-breaking 400 Medley Relay team that placed fifth at the MIAC Championships. She was also on the fifth-place 200 Medley Relay team. Individually, Wenner swam in the final of the 100 Butterfly and finished eighth and placed 11th in the consolation final of the 200 Butterfly. She also had six career-best swims and two St. Kate's top-10 performances.
High School: Wenner was a five-year letter winner at Saint John's Prep and appeared at the state meet three years. She earned her team's rookie of the year and performer of the year awards and served as a team captain. She also earned all-conference honors in multiple events and set a school record two year in a row in the 100 Butterfly.
Personal: Wenner chose St. Kate's because of the swimming and diving team and the nursing program. Wenner is a nursing major. She is the daughter of Pat and Kelly Wenner.
