Biography
I'm proud to be a Wildcat because: there is such a strong, supportive community here to hold the thing we love the most - swimming.
2016-17: As a sophomore, Koniar qualified for the MIAC Championship for the first time in her career after clocking multiple season and career best times during the regular season. Koniar swam in the 200 IM and 100 and 200 fly races at the MIAC Championship, clocking career best times in all three races.
2015-16: In her first season with St. Kate's, Koniar competed for the Wildcats in several events during the season.
High School: Koniar earned the Heidi Raasch Award for outstanding leadership and community effort for volunteering with empty bowls, Feed My Starving Children and Second Harvest Heartland. She was also a member of the softball team for four seasons and participated in choir. Koniar was also an honor roll student and member of National Honors Society.
Personal: Koniar chose St. Kate's for the small class sizes, community and nursing program. She plans to major in nursing. She is the daughter of John and Brenda Koniar.
