                        Biography
                    
                                                
                        I'm proud to be a Wildcat because: of the awesome teammates and coaches. 
2017-18: This will be Matlack's third season with St. Kate's. 
2016-17: As a sophomore, Matlack qualified for the MIAC Championship for the second consecutive season. She clocked a career best time in the 50 yard freestyle at the meet, breaking 30 seconds for the first time in her career, finishing the race in 29.89 seconds. 
2015-16: As a first year, Matlack recorded a career best time in the 50 yard freestyle at the MIAC Championships and competing in several other events for St. Kate's during the season. 
High School: Matlack was a two-year cpatain of the swimming team at Carlton. She also placed sixth in the Lake Superior Conference meet as a senior. She was also an honor roll student, president of National Honor Society, student council member, student representative to the school board and yearbook editor. Outside of school, she was a part of the Northland Foundation Youth in Philanthropy board and volunteered with the Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Inistitute adaptive ski program. 
Personal: Matlack chose to attend St. Kate's for the physical therapy program, the swimming and diving team and the opportunity to have a great college experience. She plans to major in exercise and sport science, pre-physical therapy. Out of the pool, Matlack is a Dean's list student, WSAAC member and works with multiple on-campus groups and off-campus outreach programs. She is the daughter of Brad Matlack and Mary Matlack.
