2024: As a sophomore, Newes played 192 minutes in 8 games. 

2023: In her first season with the Wildcats, Newes played in 4 games for a total of 94 minutes. 

High School: Played Varsity soccer since sophomore year at Hudson High School. Competed in the State Tournament her Sophomore year. Was named Conference and Regional Champions her senior year. Was a DECA State finalist junior year and district finalist senior year. Involved in NHS, church leadership, and was A honor roll all four years of high school. 

Personal: Daughter of Jillian Newes. Plans to pursue a degree in Psychology. 

What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Kate's? I get to come to college knowing people and having friendships, so I don’t feel super anxious trying to meet so many new people.

I chose St. Catherine University because: I loved the environment the second I entered the soccer field, I love the people around me, it is near my hometown so I can go back if needed, it is great academically, and it is BEAUTIFUL
