What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Catherine?: Being surrounded by people who care about the students' future. All the athletes and teams get along well and support each other. I also get to earn a quality education while playing the sport I love. 

2017-18: As a senior, Brakke appeared in all 25 games for St. Kate's, tallying four points with two goals and two assists. She scored the first goal of her collegiate career in a 3-3 tie against Saint Mary's on January 19 and scored the Wildcats lone goal in a 3-1 loss to Augsburg in February. 

2016-17: As a junior, Brakke appeared in played in 25 games for the Wildcats. She tallied give assists and five total points, including a two-assist performance in St. Kate's 5-4 win over Northland.  

2015-16: As a sophomore, Brakke played in 17 games for St. Kate's. She tallied two assists for two total points. 

2014-15: In her first season as a Wildcat, Brakke played in 25 games for the Wildcats.  

High School: Brakke was a four-year letter winner at Mayo High School. She was all-conference once and named honorable mention twice. She was a senior captain and Hobey Baker Award winner. Outside of hockey, Brakke was a member of National Honors Sociery, junior class president and senior class secretary. 

Personal: Brakke chose to attend St. Kate's because of its academic reputation and the opportunity to play hockey. She is a biology major. She is the daughter of Todd and Shari Brakke.
