I'm proud to be a Wildcat because: emphasis on academics is made in addition to sports. 

What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Catherine?: I enjoy the sense of community surrounding athletics at St. Kate's. 

2015-16: This will be Fabsits' final season as a Wildcat. 

2014-15: Fabsits played in 25 games as a junior and earned her second-straight All-MIAC Honorable Mention honor. She led all Wildcat defense in points (10) and assists (7). Fabsits also ranked fourth among all MIAC defense in scoring, while her eight points in MIAC games ranked eighth. She also had four multi-pont performances throughout the season. Fabsits also earned her second Academic All-MIAC honor. 

2013-14: As a sophomore, Fabsits plated in all 26 games for the Wildcats and was named All-MIAC Honorable Mention. She led all Wildcat defense in points (8) and was tied for the team lead in assists (7). She scored a power play goal in team's tie with Hamline. Her eight points ranked 10th in the MIAC among all defense and her five assists in conference games ranked seventh in the MIAC for defense. She also earned Academic All-MIAC honors. 

2012-13: In her first season as a Wildcat, Fabsits played in all 26 games and was second on the team in scoring among defense with eight points. She scored three goals and five assists and ranked eighth in the MIAC among all defensmen in scoring. She was also 17th among all MIAC first-years in scoring. Fabsits also scored the game-winner against Saint Mary's. 

High School: As a member of the Chicago Mission girls hockey program, Fabsits' team made four Illinois State Tournament appearances and won the championship all four years; her team also won Regional Championships three years. At the USA Hockey National Championship, her team took second place two years and third place one year. Off the ice, Fabsits was on the honor roll all four years and in the top five percent of her class and was also involved in German club.

Personal: Fabsits is an exercise and sport science major, chemistry minor and dean's list student. She also earned the general chemistry award in 2014 and is a member of the honor scoiety Kappa Omicron Nu. She is the daughter of Rich and Carol Fabsits.
