Megan Wolfe

St. Catherine University head hockey coach, Brad Marshall named Megan Wolfe an assistant coach for the Wildcats 2020-21 season.

A former standout at the University of Minnesota, Wolfe played four seasons for the maroon and gold from 2013-2017 appearing in 158 games. A two-time NCAA national champion, Wolfe netted 17 goals for 87 points in her career. The Eagan, Minnesota native earned NCAA All-Tournament team honors as a sophomore and was a WCHA All-Academic and Academic All-Big Ten her junior and senior seasons. To cap off her impressive four years, Wolfe was named All-WCHA Third Team in 2016-17.

"We are so excited to welcome Megan to the staff this year", said Marshall. "We're adding such a high-quality role model for our student-athletes with Megan. Her previous experiences as a versatile player, and now as a coach will really solidify our staff. She'll be able to communicate with all the skaters from a player's perspective because of her time spent at both forward and defense while at the University of Minnesota. Being a young professional businesswoman, she'll also be able to mentor our players for their future."

Wolfe joins other former Division I players on the staff, including former teammate Sydney Baldwin (Minnesota '18) and Alli Altmann (Minnesota State University-Mankato '10) and will work with both the forwards and defenseman.
