2017-18:  As a first year, Boreen appeared in eight games and made eight starts for St. Kate's. She was named the goalie of the MIAC All-Rookie Team thanks to a 3-4-1 record during the season, with all of her appearances coming against MIAC opponents. During the season, Boreen tallied a .923 save percentage and a 2.46 GAA, both of which ranked in the top-10 in the conference. Her save percentage was fifth in the MIAC while her 2.46 GAA was No. 10 overall. 

High School: Boreen was a five time letter winner and two-time MVP during an extremely successful career with Park-Cottage Grove. Boreen earned All-Conference honors as a senior and was named team captain that same season. Off the ice, Boreen was a member of National Honors Society, Student Council, Leaders of the Pack, Link Crew, Prom and Homecoming Committees. She was also a youth goalie mentor. 

Personal:  Boreen chose St. Kate's because of the nursing program, as she plans to major in the field. She is the daughter of Kellie and Neil Boreen.
