Biography

I'm proud to be a Wildcat because: we push each other to improve everyday.

2014-15: This will be Rasmussen's final season as a Wildcat. 

2013-14: As a junior, Rasmussen led the Wildcats in points (12) and goals (9) to earn All-MIAC Honorable Mention honors. She scored six power play goals – which ranked second in the MIAC this season and second all-time at St. Kate's in a single season. Rasmussen also led the MIAC with five game-winning goals for the third highest total in a single season in St. Kate's history. Rasmussen also had two-goal games twice in wins over Hamline and Augsburg. She also earned Academic All-MIAC honors. 

2012-13: In Rasmussen's first year as a Wildcat she was the team's leading goal scorer with 11 which ranked 11th in the MIAC. She was third on the team in points with 14 and recorded three assists. Rasmussen led the team in power play goals with three and had the only short-handed goal. She scored the Wildcats' firsty goal in five games and recorded the game-winner against Augsburg. 

Previous College Experience: Before transferring to St. Kate's, Rasmussen played one season at Concordia (WI). She played in 25 games and recorded four points. 

High School: At Grand Rapids High, Rasmussen played hockey and softball. With her hockey team, she participated in the State Tournament and was team captain. She was also softball team captain. Outside of athletics, she was on the honor roll, graduated with high honors and received the Presidential Award.

Personal: Rasmussen is a public health major and dean's list student. She is the daughter of Todd and Julie Rasmussen.
