What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Catherine?: The ability to receive a great education while continuing to play the sport I love. Not many people are able to say that. 

2016-17: In her third season with the Wildcats, Pederson played in 23 games and finished sixth on the team in points (10) with four goals and six assists. She scored the game winning goal in St. Kate's 3-2 win over Bethel in December and helped the Wildcats beat Concordia with her first multi-point game of the season (1 goal, 1 assist).

2015-16: In her second season with St. Kate's, Pederson played in 25 games and finished sixth on the team in points (5) with three goals and two assists. 

2014-15: In her first season as a Wildcat, Pederson was fourth on the team in points (11) and recorded four goals and seven assists. She also finished eighth among all MIAC rookies for scoring and earned the team's Rookie of the Year award. 

High School: Pederson was a four-year letter winner in hockey and swimming at Park Rapids. In hockey, she was twice all-conference and all-conference honorable mention and earned the team's most offensive, most dedicated and coaches' awards. She is fifth all-time in career points at Park Rapids. She was also a state participant in swimming and cross country and earned all-conference in swimming in 2012-13. Pederson was also an honor roll student. 

Personal: Pederson chose to attend St. Kate's because of the academic reputation and the opportunity to play hockey. She is a healthcare sales major and dean's list student. She is the daughter of Dion and Sue Pederson.
