Biography
I'm proud to be a Wildcat because: of the many people I have and will meet and the opportunities I have. I love the feeling of stepping out on the court with my teammates.
What do you love most about being a student-athlete at St. Catherine?: I love the competitive atmosphere of participating in athletics and the opportunity to pursue my career.Â
2013-14: Kristen will serve as a senior captain for the Wildcats in 2013-14.Â
2012-13: Kristen appeared and started in all 25 games and her 829 minutes played was the most by any player in the MIAC who did not appear in the postseason. As a junior captain, she was the team's leading scorer with 247 points. She averaged 9.9 points per game and her .323 3-pt shooting percentage ranked 13th in the MIAC. Kristen also earned MIAC Academic All-Conference honors.
2011-2012: Kristen played in 25 games as a sophomore, and scored a total of 127 points. She also had 27 assists and 87 rebounds. Kristen was also named to the MIAC Academic All-Conference team.
2010-2011: In her first season as a Wildcat, Kristen played and started 24 games and had a .739 free throw percentage. She was also named the team's Freshman of the Year.
High School: She comes to St. Kate's from Dawson-Boyd High School, where she played basketball, softball and volleyball. During her high school basketball career, she scored over 1000 points. She was also voted MVP and team captain for all three teams and received All-Conference honors. Kristen was also a elementary school basketball coach and taught Sunday school at her church.
Personal: Kristen is the basketball representative with WSAAC. Â Kristen is an exercise and sport science, pre-physical therapy major.
