University of West Alabama

I'm proud to be a Wildcat because: it means being a part of something bigger, not just an athlete. As athletes, we represent St. Kate's when we go to other schools and we want to give a positive portrayal of the university.
 
2017-18: In her first season, Struemke played in 20 games for the Wildcats, averaging 7.8 minutes per game. She scored 48 total points, including a career high 12 against Carleton in November, and averaged 2.4 points per game. Struemke also pulled in 26 rebounds.  

Other sports: Struemke is also a member of St. Kate's track and field team. 

High School: Struemke had an outstanding athletic career at Somerset, where she was a three-time All-Conference honoree. Off the court, she was a member of NHS and was an honor roll student. 

Personal: Struemke chose St. Kate's because of the small, beautiful campus and tight-knit community. She plans to major in psychology and is the daughter of Kathie and Tim Struemke.
