Davis joins the St. Kate's basketball staff for her first season as an assistant in 2015-16. She will work with the guards and run small group and individual skills sessions. She joins the Wildcats after a successful playing career at Division II Minnesota State University-Mankato.Â
During her senior season at Mankato, Davis begame the 20th player in porgram history to score 1,000 career points and earned Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) All-Conference First-Team honors. She started in all 31 games for the Mavericks and led the team with 13.7 points and 4.8 assists per game. Davis was also NSIC All-Conference Second-Team in 2012-13, and was named to the All-Freshman Team in 2011-12. Additionally, Davis was a member of the Mavericks Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).Â
Davis brings solid coaching experience to the Wildcats after serving as a head coach of the Minnesota Rise AAU basketball team. She also brings several years of experience working at the YMCA with youth sports programs in Mankato.Â
Davis graduated from MSU-Mnakato in 2015 with a bachelor of science in exercise science and psychology. She also earned dean's list honors six of her eight semesters. Davis is currently pursing her master of occupational therapy at St. Kate's.Â
