What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Catherine?
I enjoy meeting all the new people. 

2017: As a junior, Berquam appeared in 22 games for the Wildcats and made three starts on the mound. In those appearances, Berquam accumulated a 4.48 ERA while posting a 4-3 record and holding opposing batters to a .296 batting average. Berquam pitched one of the best games of her career against St. Thomas, as she gave up just two runs on seven hits in six innings of work. 

2016: As a sophomore, Berquam appeared in 15 games for the Wildcats. In her eight starts on the mount, Berquam accumulated a 4.10 ERA during the season while holding opposing batters to a .218 batting average. 

2015: In her first season as a pitcher for the Wildcats, Berquam made 16 appearances and nine starts earning five wins. She recorded a 2.81 earned run average and allowed opponents just a .257 average. On March 20, Berquam picked up a no-hitter in a 16-0 shutout of Maranatha Baptist. She tallied a career-high 11 strikeouts in the victory. 

High School: At Kenyon-Wanamingo, Berquam was a five-time all-conference and four-time all-section player. She was also team captain as a junior and senior and earned all-state honors both years. Outside of softball, Berquam was president of student council, FFA and 4H. She was also a member of National Honors Society, SAAD and the trap shooting club. She also earned the President's Award.

Personal: Berquam chose to attend St. Kate's because of it's small community feel. She is a nurrsing major. She is the daughter of James and Dawn Berquam.
