Biography

2015 Statistics

I'm proud to be a Wildcat because: I am able to obtain a degree and be a part of a great softball program. 

What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Catherine?: Being able to call my team family and playing the sport I love. 

2016: This will be Kurvers' second season as a Wildcat. 

2015: In her first season as a Wildcat, Kurvers played in 36 games an hit .316. She recorded 31 hits, 21 RBI and 20 runs. She also had three doubles and her lone home run of the season was a walk-off, three-run shot that helped the Wildcats defeat St. Thomas (8-6) for the first time in program history and set a new school record for wins in a season. Kurvers also earned Academic All-MIAC honors. 

Previous College Experience: Kurvers played for two years at St. Cloud Technical Community College. In her first season, Kurvers was named to the Region 13 All-Tournament team, MCAC All-Academic team and was the MCAC player of the week. As a senior, she was an NJCAA All-American and was the St. Cloud Tech Female Athlete of the Year. She was named to the All-MCAC Southern Division first team, MCAC first team, Region 13 first team, Region 13 All-Tournament team, MCAC All-Academic team and was MCAC player of the week. She was also a dean's list student. 

High School: At Monticello, Kurvers was an all-conference honorable mention in 2012. 

Personal: Kurvers chose to attend St. Kate's because of the supportive atmopshere and physical therapy program. She is an exercise and sport science major and dean's list student. Kurvers is also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honors society. She is the daughter of Robert and Jeannine Kurvers.
